About the Speakers
Sarah Deible
Sarah is a common woman with a passion for connecting people with the uncommon Savior. She grew up as a pastor’s kid in rural Illinois, the youngest of 5 children. Sarah ran far and fast in any direction but faith until a radical encounter with Jesus at age 29 changed everything for her. What did she learn? God does not waste a hurt — if you’re on the receiving end or the one who caused it; she has a love for hurting people because she’s been there herself. Her heart desires to meet people where they’re at and share the only hope that does not disappoint — his name is Jesus.
Sarah has committed her life to reaching people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ through writing, teaching, speaking engagements, or even the simplicity of fellowship over a cup of coffee. She is the author of the book ‘Unveiling Freedom,’ available on Amazon. Sarah and her husband Chad live in South Dakota where Chad pastors a local church and they work at a non-profit ministry center.
Terri Broome
Terri Broome is the author of ‘The Ordinary Road’ and ‘Tender Warrior: Reflections on Womanhood.’ Terri has taught thousands of women through weekly broadcasts, blogs, podcasts, and her first book, The Ordinary Road. Her passion is to “Urge younger women to love their husbands and children” (Titus 2:4). That little scripture sounds easy until we actually try to do it.
Terri was married at 21 and divorced at 22. As she was running from her husband, she ran into God. He saved her soul and sent her home, to the same man. Since she no longer believed she could leave, she got into God’s Word and begged Him to show her the key to happiness. He did so and much more than that. She found her calling. She raised three children (Andrew, Scott, and Becca) and God is using them to change His world. Her husband, Rick, is her best friend and the love of her life. They have been married for 35 years.
No one is more amazed than she is at what God will do if we believe His Word and act on it.
“Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill His promises to her” (Luke 1:45)
Terri is currently the Director of Women’s Ministry at Pursuit Church in Denver, NC.
